Welcome to Comfortably Outdoors
Whether you love exploring deep in the woods, relaxing on the porch, or experiencing nature from home, this is a place for everyone.
I’m just an amateur photographer who spends as much free time outdoors as I can, especially when autumn rolls around and the air turns crisp. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to share quiet moments with wildlife, sometimes standing just twenty yards from deer, wild turkeys, bobcats, and black bears.
While I love capturing landscapes and nature, my real passion is the hidden world beneath our feet: mushrooms and fungi of every shape, color, and size. There’s something endlessly fascinating about finding a vibrant cap pushing through the forest floor.
I’m not a mushroom expert or a mycologist. I simply enjoy discovering and photographing them. I don’t pick, eat, touch, or disturb any mushrooms I find. I leave them exactly where they are, allowing them to remain in their natural habitat and continue the important job nature intended them to do.
I built this space to share the experience of the outdoors through my photography and original designs. You don’t need heavy gear or a 20-mile hike to connect with it. Take a look around, and hopefully, I can share that feeling of being Comfortably Outdoors with you.
Come wander a while…
